The Giraffe and the Zebra
A story about why fighting makes the water muddy.
One sunny afternoon,
a tall giraffe named Golu walked slowly toward the water pond.
(slow heavy steps)
“Thump… Thump…”
He was very thirsty.
His long neck bent carefully as he tried to drink.
Just then, a group of zebras arrived.
One zebra named Zubi trotted quickly to the water.
(fast trot sound)
“Clip-clop! Clip-clop!”
He stood right in front of Golu.
“Hey! I came first!” said Golu softly.
“But I’m more thirsty!” Zubi replied.
Soon, the other zebras started arguing too.
💦 The Muddy Mess
Splash!
Stamp!
Snort!
They pushed.
They shoved.
The water became brown and muddy.
It was dirty.
Now… no one could drink.
🐢 The Wise Turtle
A small turtle watching nearby said calmly:
“If you all keep fighting,
nobody gets clear water.”
Everyone became quiet.
Golu looked at the muddy water.
Zubi looked at his dirty hooves.
Golu stepped back a little.
Zubi moved aside too.
They decided to take turns.
💧 Clear Water Again
They waited for the mud to settle.
First Golu drank.
(long sip) “Slurp…”
Then Zubi drank.
(happy sip) “Ahhh…”
Then the others.
Soon, the pond was peaceful again.
Zubi smiled.
“Sharing makes things easier,” he said.
Golu nodded.
“And friendship makes water taste sweeter.”
Finding the Moral
Golu stepped back.
Zubi waited.
The water slowly became clear again.
No one said sorry loudly.
No one argued.
They simply shared.
And that was enough.
