The moon is awake. It is glowing like a soft, silver nightlight in the sky.
Everything in the forest is safe. Everything is slow.
(Parent makes soft wind sound)

🦉 Ollie the Owl
High up in the old oak tree, Ollie the Owl is watching.
Ollie loves the dark.
The dark is like a warm, fuzzy blanket for the world.
He fluffs his soft feathers.
(wing sound)
“Fwoomp. Fwoomp.”
🐰 The Little Bunny
He looks down and sees a little Bunny.
The Bunny is wiggling.
The Bunny cannot sleep.
“Don't worry,” whispers Ollie.
“I am here.”
(Parent makes a low, soft hoot)
“HOOO... HOOO...”
The little Bunny hears the sound.
It is a safe sound.
The Bunny stops wiggling.
He curls up into a soft, round ball.
🌊 The River's Song
The wind sings a lullaby to the leaves.
The river hums a song to the stones.
(Parent hums a low vibration)
“HMMMMM... HMMMMM...” 🌊
Now, the Bunny is sleeping.
The trees are sleeping.
Even Ollie is closing his big, round eyes.
The world is quiet.
You are safe.
You are warm.
Goodnight, little one.

“That's right, Ollie and the moon are keeping us safe.”
