Zazu was a young zebra with a small problem.
He was… lazy.
(yawn sound)
“Yaaaawn…”
While his friends played tag, Zazu sat alone.
While others practiced running, Zazu looked at the ground.
Why was Zazu so tired?
Because he didn't eat his Power Food.
No milkshakes.
No fresh fruit.
Just nibbling on dry snacks.
🐘 Donut the Giant
One day, a big, wise elephant named Donut walked by.
(heavy steps)
“Thump. Thump.”
“Little Zazu,” Donut rumbled.
“Why don't you play?”
“I’m too weak,” Zazu whispered.
Donut smiled. “You are not weak. You just need the right fuel.
Look at me. I eat big greens and drink lots of water.
That is why I am strong.”
🍌 The Change
Zazu decided to try.
That morning, he ate a big breakfast.
Fresh Salad! 🥗
Sweet Papayas!
Bread and Jam! 🍞
And a tall, cold Milkshake! 🥛
(eating sounds)
“Munch… Crunch… Gulp!”
Day after day, Zazu felt a change.
His legs felt harder.
His body felt lighter.
He started running faster.
(running sound)
“Clip-clop-ZOOM!”
🌊 The Big River
One day, the zebra family had to cross the Great River.
The water was deep.
And crocodiles were watching.
(water splash)
“Splosh…”
The other zebras were scared.
They waded into the water slowly, shaking with fear.
But Zazu stopped.
“I won’t swim,” he said.
He stepped back.
Farther back.
Then suddenly—
He RAN.
🚀 The Super Jump
Fast.
Faster.
Fastest!
At the edge of the river, Zazu pushed with his strong legs.
JUMP!
He flew high into the air!
Over the water.
Over the surprised crocodiles. 🐊
“Whoooosh!”
He landed safely on the dry grass on the other side.
(soft landing)
“Thud.”
His family cheered!
Zazu smiled and flexed his legs.
“Donut was right,” he thought.
“Good food makes me fly.”

When a predator chases them, zebras don't run straight! They run in a zig-zag pattern to confuse the chaser.

Zebras can sleep while standing up! Their legs "lock" in place so they don't fall over.
